Tottenham Vs Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League and Swansea in the Premier League

Its our first Champion's league match of the Season on Wednesday as we take on past Champion's League winners and runners up, Borussia Dortmund at Wembley. It will be a stern test and hopefully we will manage a better showing than when we met them last in the Europa League in 2015/16, where we put out a second string team. They boast a team of stars including Goetze, Aubameyang, Kagawa, Reus and Pulisic and we will need to be at our best to get a result and will have to manage without suspended Dele Alli. However we have strengthened well over the summer and coming off a 3-0 win against the Toffees are in good spirits.
Lets hope that this will be another European glory, glory night for us. As with all mid week games, join us at either of our partner pubs; The Irishman in Plano or Trinity Hall in Mockingbird station to watch the match. Kick off is 1.45pm.

Then on Saturday its back to the league, where we take on Swansea again at Wembley. Davies, Vorm and new signing Llorente will be in the reckoning to face their old club. They are faring poorly this season, though have Portugese wonderkid Renato Sanches on loan from Bayern Munich, who could be a difference maker. This is the type of match we need to collect all 3 points from to keep in touch at the top of this early Premier League table.
