A loss to Liverpool last time out in midweek has seen us slip to second and notch a second defeat in the league for this season against a scouse team. The next match will be no easier against 4th placed Leicester at home on Sunday. Big wins against the goons and Antwerp helped us stay on top of the Premier league and top our Europa league group. These results, along with the return of fans in the stadium meant another great week for us. Next up however is another London derby against the Eagles.

After a couple of great results against Man City and Chelsea (lets forget about that match against LASK!), its the big one on Sunday against the old enemy. We go into this Sunday's match against Chelsea sitting top of the table! This will be another stern test after the Man City match from last weekend. We face that lot at their place on Sunday at 10.30am. It will be a tough place as Jose goes back to his old stomping ground, and we take on a team that we narrowly beat on penalities in the league cup earlier this season. Should be a tough fight but we will hope to keep our place top of the tree! This one will be at the Irishman.

Then Thursday we will resume Europa league action in our penultimate group match against LASK. Coming off a great 4-0 win on Thursday against Ludogorets, we need to try and finish top of the group to avoid a Champions League team in the knock out round. The Seagulls have a had a poor start to the season but lately have clawed draws in their last two league fixtures. With the Carabao Cup match postponed on Tuesday, our first match of the week will be on Thursday in our next Europa League qualifier against Macedonian opposition, Shkendija Tetovo. No idea how this one will look given that probably no-one outside of Macedonia has seen them play, but hopefully we won't need two reds and a penalty to win this one! It starts at 1pm, and we will likely play a strong squad so that we can continue to advance. This one is on BR Live.

Then we are home to the Geordies on Sunday at 8am in the league. They are coming off a 3-0 hammering from Brighton last weekend. They are bolstered the addition of Wilson and Fraser from Bournemouth, so will be a different proposition. This match will be on NBCSN.

We start a new season against the Toffees on Sunday after a miniscule preseason break. We are at home for the first match at 10.30am and face a big spending Everton side who have acquired James Rodriguez, Allan and Dacoure in the last few days to bolster their midfield. We have new recruits of our own with Hart, Doherty and Hojbjerg in contention and our only doubts are Tanganga and Lo Celso. This match will be on the new Peacock streaming service and so won't be available at the Irishman.

Then on Thursday is our first foray into the Europa League against Lokomotiv Plovdiv (yep haven't heard of them either...), so the boys will be heading to the arse end of nowhere for this one which begins at 11am.

Finally the third game in a week will be next Sunday against the Saints at St. Mary's for an early kick off at 6am. Again this one is on Peacock.

We will have fewer watch parties for the forseeable future due to many of our matches being on the new Peacock streaming service and due to the considerable expense of having this channel at a public venue. Its the final match of this crazy season as we take on Palace at Selhurst Park. We have the chance to clinch 6th spot and automatic qualification for the Europa league. Theres a lot riding on this final match and we will have to better Wolves's result to finish 6th as they take on Chelsea in their final match.
We are unbeaten in our last 5 matches and Palace have not won a match since the restart and have nothing to play for, so lets hope both teams run true to form!
